What is The
North-West CTEC?

The UK needs 40,000 skilled construction workers by 2029 to deliver 1.5 million homes and major infrastructure projects. Young people need training to get them ready for jobs. Employers need a pipeline of people who know what they’re doing.

The North-West CTEC is led by Wigan & Leigh College, in strategic partnership with Blackpool & The Fylde College and East Lancashire Learning Group. We’re coordinating construction training across the region, so learners get the quality teaching they deserve close to home. Employers work closely to shape the curriculum, so it delivers what they need.
